Plug in
nothing.
Sit down. Start the car. Your screen is already loaded. The DriveLink Mini makes your wired CarPlay or Android Auto fully wireless, forever.
You've plugged in
1,400 times this year
Dig for the cable. Plug in. Wait for the screen. Every school run, every errand, every commute. And when the cord frays, your maps cut out mid-turn.
Why this one actually works
Connects itself in 3–5s
Pair once. After that it grabs your phone the second the engine starts. No menus, no re-pairing, ever.
Coin-sized. Sits flush.
22mm across and 50% smaller than other adapters. It disappears into the port instead of dangling off your dash.
Built not to lag
Ribbed heat-dissipating shell keeps the chip cool on long drives, so audio and maps stay locked in.
Wheel + touch still work
Steering controls, OEM knob, touchscreen, and Siri or Google voice all pass straight through, untouched.
Under a minute.
Then never again.
The size of a coin
Other adapters are plastic bricks dangling off a pigtail cable. The DriveLink Mini is 0.88 inches across and sits flush in the port, like it came with the car.
Vehicle models covered, 98% of cars on the road. iPhone (iOS 10+) and Android (11+), USB-A and USB-C, all in one box.
Before you ask
The cable killers
Both of the black brick ones lagged and dropped my maps on the highway. This one has been flawless for 6 weeks. Sit down, engine on, CarPlay is up before I'm out of the driveway. Should've bought it first.
With two kids, a coffee, and a backpack in my hands every morning, plugging in a cable was one thing too many. Now my phone stays in my bag and maps are already on the screen. Setup took maybe 40 seconds.
Photos don't do the size justice. It's smaller than my car key fob and you genuinely forget it's plugged in. The little green ring lighting up when it connects is weirdly satisfying.
Connects in a few seconds every single drive. Had one hiccup where I unplugged and replugged it once, took 10 seconds, hasn't happened since. Still miles better than the cable ritual.
Spotify, calls, and Waze all run with zero delay. Steering wheel buttons still work exactly like before. We now have one in the Accord and one in the RAV4 and the charging cable lives in a drawer.
My cord died mid-navigation on a road trip and I ordered this from the passenger seat. Paired with my husband's phone and mine, and it just grabs whichever of us is driving. Brilliant little thing.
I drive full time and this has run all day, every day, for two months. No overheating, no dropouts, even in July heat. The ribbed casing clearly isn't just for looks.
Bought it for my dad who is not a tech person. Walked him through pairing over the phone in under two minutes and he hasn't called me about it since, which for him is a five-star review on its own.
Takes about 5 seconds to connect after ignition, exactly as advertised. Music quality is identical to wired as far as my ears can tell. Only nitpick is I want one in orange AND another color for my second car.
My new car only has Type-C ports and most adapters I looked at needed a separate dongle purchase. This came with it included. Plugged in, paired, done before I left the parking lot of my mailbox place.
The amount of times I drove off with my phone still plugged in and yanked the cable is embarrassing. That entire category of problem is gone. Connects before the backup camera even times out.
It tucks so flush into the port under my armrest that my passenger asked where my "new car screen upgrade" came from. It's just this little coin doing all the work. Very happy.
Your cable had
a good run
Tomorrow morning: sit down, green light, drive. The coin-sized batch sells out every restock, and this one is moving.
