Will this actually damage my ceiling or wall?
No. The mount plate uses a 3M adhesive strip, so nothing goes through the ceiling. If you own your place and want it more permanent, two small screws are included instead.
Is it actually bright enough for a real light, or just a nightlight?
It's built to be the main light in small spaces, closets, hallways, stairwells, pantries. Use the remote to set it anywhere from a soft warm glow to a bright daylight white, and dim it to whatever the room needs.
How long does the battery actually last?
The 10,000mAh battery runs up to 103 days in motion-sensor mode, based on about 10 activations a day. In always-on mode it runs closer to 9 hours. When it's low, pull it off the magnetic mount and recharge over USB-C in about 6.5 hours.
What happens when I move out?
Peel the mount plate off the ceiling and take the light with you. There's no wiring tying it to this apartment. It's yours.
